We love all things shimmery and when it comes to summer, we don’t hold back on any kind of shimmer and glimmer. It some how makes things look brighter and there’s nothing wrong with a bit of extra glow.
Our latest love is going to be a staple this summer. It is Oribe’s 24k Hair Pomade. Oribe is the eponymous line of hair care products by the stylist who created Jennifer Lopez’s look way back when. After running his own salon for a quite a while, he has decided to come out with his own line of hair care products that are top of the line.
Each product is well thought out and brings something special to an already saturated market. Case in point: the 24k hair pomade. It’s not one of those products that has token shimmer in it. The pomade is chock full of gold shimmer so that with every single use you are putting gold glitter in your hair.
I found that it had more impact when used dry not wet, and yes, some of the shimmer did get on my clothes, but of course, I didn’t mind. You can order this from the Oribe website – call them to place an order if you are in Canada.

You are probably right, but keep in mind that the container is flimsy plastic that’s painted gold. It still looks pretty but in real life it’s not as nice as it is in the picture.
