3 Christmas Baubles

Don’t forget that this time of year is the best time to get pretty things. Beautiful baubles abound and they are perfect for adding to your vanity or for giving to someone special. Here are 3 of my favourites this year – find out why.

Tarte Three Carats. These mini Tarte cheek stains come in a set of three and each one is topped with a glittered cap. They are super pretty and perfect for travel. My only qualm is that they all have shimmer in them which isn’t always what you want, and in a set of three it would have been nice to have more options. Nevertheless, there’s a bronze, a highlighting shade, and a rosy colour – each works well for a variety of skin tones. The set is $33.

Harajuku Lovers Snow Bunnies. These are cute miniature versions of the original Harajuku Lovers fragrances. The scents themselves weren’t my personal taste, but cousins who are much younger than me love them. They are playful yet grown-up smelling for any teenager, and Gwen Stefani is still a recognizable enough style icon to make these a must-have for the holidays. The whole set of Snow Bunnies retails for $100 at Murale or about $30 for an individual one at Sephora.

Chantecaille Les Petales. Obviously, this one is for the grown-ups, and Chantecaille’s Les Petales powder compact is the most expensive item on my list (but it’s only about $40). The shiny foiled metallic compact is a great addition to your makeup bag and will garner tonnes of ooohs and aahs when you pull it out of your purse. There are 3 versions to collect – a pressed powder that layers so sheer that it will work for every skin tone, a shimmery pink-gold highlighter, or a rosy lip gloss.

So those are my picks! They are items that are adding some holiday cheer to my every day routine, and are really making my days better. Is anyone else counting down to Christmas because I am really looking forward to eating some turkey! Happy holidays everyone!
