Aveda’s new spring/summer makeup is in stores now and I checked out four lip shades from the Art of Nature collection. I love Aveda (I worked for the brand for years) but often find that their colour cosmetics too earthy and shimmery. I was stoked to discover that the spring shades have an intense colour payoff without a hint of shimmer.
I tried all four lip colours in the Vine clip below:

Barberry Bloom lip liner is a bright matte red-orange. Mixed with a clear balm, this would work nicely as a summery stain.
Kukui lip glaze is a deep cinnamon brown that creates a very 90s Angela Chase type mouth that’s so on-trend right now. I was surprised by how much I liked this shade after applying it.
Sheer Melochia Bloom is a soft pink-coral. I would layer this over a pink stain.
My favourite shade is Cana, a creamy formula colour in an intense red-orange.

I love Aveda’s hair products (they smell great) and some of their skin care. These products look interesting. I am wondering if they are gluten-free?
I have a gluten-free diet, so I always look for lipsticks and full beauty lines that are gluten-free, and Glam Girl Naturals Cosmetics is awesome for that because they are 100% gluten-free, cruelty-free, and 95% vegan.
I love their products bc they are made from natural ingredients and make me feel like I am making a better choice in using makeup!
Will see if the Aveda makeup is gluten-free, thanks for the review!
