Backstage at Derek Lam

Derek Lam and Estee Lauder’s Tom Pecheux collaborated for the makeup at the Derek Lam show this season, and the look was inspired.  Coral lip liner used around the eyes, though Estee Lauder is cautioning that they don’t officially recommend doing this look.  Does it really matter?  How many Estee Lauder customers are going to try to do this look themselves?  It’s pretty but it’s not day wear, that’s for sure.

I, for one, am going bananas over the nails.  The nail polish is called Extravagant Pearl and is going to be part of the 2010 Estee Lauder Holiday collection.  It was designed by Jin Soon Choi for Estee Lauder. Pretty awesome because it reminds me of snow or a dusting off sugar on the nails.  So super pretty.
