The contest continues.
Wind Mobile’s Best Conversation Ever contest is still ongoing, and I tell you, there are some great entries that have been really inspiring for me.
A recap of the premise: tell them who you would want to talk to and why.
The winner gets their dream come true, and winners for cash prizes are also chosen weekly, so there’s lots of good reasons to participate.
And I’m a judge, so when it’s all said and done, I’m going to be choosing who I think should win.
Engineers Without Borders has a particulary amazing entry. Here it is:
“Make Poverty History !
Mr. George Roter is an incredible man who influenced me a lot in my youth. He started an organization called Engineers without Borders – Canada that helped me to find myself during a troubled time of my life. Through implication in the organization and the management of many projects, I found my way in life. I would love to chat with this man that was recognized as a top 40 under 40 by the Time magazine to tell him how he changed my life. I want to be able to tell him how extraordinary his commitment to international developement is and how I admire him to be such an humble man !
Vote for me and you will make an happy young man ! ”
As you can see, this contest has the potential to go way beyond the average teenager meeting Justin Beiber. Inspired by what’s happening in the Arab nations, I think we all see that we have real potential for change, in whatever form that may be!
Check out the contest entries, and if you see one that caught your eye, share it with me!
