Drugstore Gem – L’Oreal Lash Boosting Serum

I am perhaps the biggest skeptic and then the most easily excited blogger around.  For the longest time, this L’Oreal Lash Boosting Serum just sat in my bathroom among brushes and lip glosses.  It probably felt so neglected.

Finally, in an effort to clean out my makeup, I figured that I should at least use the serum and then throw it out.

But guess what?  I was quickly retrieving it from the giveaway pile!

After one night of having this on my lashes, my lashes actually did look fuller and more lush.  After a month of use, I’m pretty sure that an empty spot in my lashline was filled in, and it was thanks to this Lash Boosting Serum.

L’Oreal says that this has peptides, vitamins, and all that stuff, but I think what really works is that you’re moisturizing your lashes and that helps them get better.   We wear mascara and a gamut of other products, so after a long day, there needs to be something to condition our lashes just like we condition our hair.

L’Oreal also says that this can be used before wearing mascara, but I did not have luck doing that.  I found that my lashes got clumped up really easily and I wasn’t able to use the mascara to its fullest capabilities.

This serum is a fantastic drugstore find – it retails for $14.95 and one tube lasts at least a couple of months of regular use.

I’ve been wanting to try this but I was skeptical. I use the Ardell lash & brow growth accelerator and while I don’t notice any accelerated growth, it does a good job of priming my lashes for mascara and keeping my brows in shape.
Now that I’ve run out I’m going to give this a try.

I agree completely! I had a patch missing on one eye and after using this for about a week the regrowth was noticeable. Love it!

I used to buy this in Shoppers but haven’t been able to find it lately. Maybe my Shoppers ran out & didn’t replenish it. Don’t know. Where else can I buy it? Anyone know?

Not sure, Karen. Maybe they don’t make it anymore. Have you tried looking for it online?
