If you like keepsakes, then you’ll love the limited edition packaging for Hanae Mori’s Butterfly Parfum. Just in time to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the perfume, it now comes in a beautiful pick lacquered bottle. I love the bottle: it has major heft but still a touch of whimzy and lightness thanks to the organza butterfly on the bottle.
The scent is also pink. It’s sweet and feminine with notes of Strawberries, Bilberries, Black Currant, Almonds, and Pralines.
The scent is one that really sets on the skin and lingers. I found that because it’s a parfum, it’s very strong and has good longevity on skin and clothes. Over time, I find that the sweetness of it dissipates and lends way to sandalwood and jasmine notes that are still sweet, but not as gourmand-like. It’s a great scent for someone who likes wearing warm scents.
