Holt Renfrew Celebrates its New Calgary Store

Last Thursday, I headed over to Holt Renfrew for a gala event that celebrated the opening of their new store. It’s a 150, 000 square feet playground of the best designers you can find, so being at the story for a huge party was a treat. Samantha Ronson DJ’d, Elisha Cuthbert, Heather Marks, and Jeremy Piven attended, and the champagne and chocolate were flowing all night long.

The store has seriously created buzz in Calgary.  Almost everyone I know has already checked out, and if they haven’t they sure want to now that they know that Jeremy Piven’s been there.

For the first time, Calgary also got to host a private shopping night which usually is great for the store because they rack up so many sales, and it’s great for the shoppers because they get the ebst treatment and attention, but also gift certificates that they can use at a later time.  Previously, Calgary’s store was too small to accommodate such an event, and there’s hope that they’ll have their famous beauty events now too!
