A little while ago, I was contacted by the lovely people at Lancome telling me that I was chosen to be one of Mille Femmes. What is that, you ask?
Well, it’s an artistic project where a photographer named Pierre Maravale takes portraits of 1000 women, in this case all of whom were chosen for their artistic contributions to the community! I was one of them, and now my picture is one of 1000 that hangs in BCE place, downtown Toronto. If you’re in the area, go and check it out!
Last week I attended the launch party for the exhibition, which is officially part of Luminato. I munched on appetizers and had a look at my picture and those of many of my friends. When I left, I got a lovely Lancome goody bag, and since I like to pay it forward, a couple of those products are going into the giveaway bag. What will you get? A full-sized Lancome eyeshadow and a Juicy Tube. Really, it doesn’t get much better than that.

What?! I went down there a couple days ago, and I thought I read all the names, but I must have missed you! So sorry…the exhibit is beautiful.
Congratulations Henna! I noticed quite a few people I knew in the exhibit, but like Tiff, I must have missed your photo. (Then again, I only quickly skimmed over it. I’ll head back down and check it out later this week.)
