Julia Allison’s Makeup

We continue the celebrity makeup artist line with a guilty pleasure of mine: a look at Julia Allison’s makeup. If you aren’t familiar with Julia Allison at this point, where have you been? She was featured in the New York Times this past weekend for being a Carrie Bradshaw-like personality, and lucky for us, the Times did a video interview with her as she was getting ready in the morning which means that we got to look at some of her makeup stash (unfortunately not her foundation and concealer).

The goods?

They included (from what I could see), a couple of Stila Eyeshadow trios, MAC eyeshadow, a Sephora eyeshadow palette, A Chanel compact, a MAC pain pot, and what looks like Makeup Forever Powder. I think there might also be a Stila convertible colour somewhere in the back. I know I missed some products, so if you could help me identify them leave a comment!

I’m unfamiliar with the mascara brand but once read somewhere that Julia Allison wears falsies on a regular basis, so I think they have more to do with her lashes than the mascara or eyelash curler.

The grey pot in back of the MAC is an Urban Decay shadow.

Love it! Thanks you guys, keep the analyses coming!

Personally, I was surprised to see the Stila in there, though it makes sense because Julia Allison does seem to be kind of girly like that.
