Sorry y’all, I really do not intend to make this a Kim Kardashian blog – it’s just that I do love watching her show and when I see a good picture of her, I want to post it!
Kardashian was recently at Sephora NYC promoting her eponymous new scent. It has notes of mandarin, honeysuckle, sandalwood, and tonka bean… all notes that I love especially the sandalwood. Is it any surprise that I am absolutely DYING to try this scent, and can’t wait to see what it smells like. It has been on sale at Sephora.com for a while, but I haven’t taken the plunge to purchase it for myself.
I’m going to go ahead and guess that the tonka bean is going to have an overwhelming sweetness so that this scent appeals to the masses, but maybe the other notes will win me over? Have you smelled this already? If so, leave me your thoughts in the comments, I would love to know what you think!
On the makeup front, I love that Kim has been keeping her makeup lighter of late. You can still have dramatic eyes without making them smoky, and the more nude/neutral makeup is really on trend this season. She even chose a beige nude gloss rather than one that was a pink nude like she usually does. MAC’s Freckle is a great lip colour to try if you’d like to recreate this look on yourself, and it looks like the eyeshadow is a golden colour that’s topped with black eyeliner and lots of mascara. Totally doable at home, no?
