Lancome’s Miracle Forever was only added to the Lancome line of perfumes this year. Though I’ve heard that the perfume was meant to appeal to a younger audience, I found no sweetness or ephemeral citrus notes that are usually found in those scents. Miracle Forever has a peppery note that’s a bit of a bite on first sniff and dies down to be that je ne sais quoi in a perfume that’s mostly an oriental. To sum, it’s a perfume that I could share with my mother or the visiting teen who wants to play with the makeup on my dresser. This is pretty rare for a perfume and quite an accomplishment. I’ve been wearing it for a week now and the staying power is second to none without it being an overpowering scent that interferes with the smell of your dinner. Neither offensive nor for the apprehensive, Miracle Forever hits the spot when you’re in the mood for something different.
