After reviewing the Perricone No Foundation Foundation last week, I decided to share with you guys what some of my favourite hidden gems are.
I recently discovered Cover FX’s Total Coverage Cream Foundation SPF 30 ($42). The foundation says that it’s a concealer and foundation in one, and I totally agree! I know that on the blog, I cover a LOT of tinted foundations and sheer coverage foundations, but for once, this is for those gals who want a little more coverage.
This is basically the most pigmented product out there – think of the full coverage pan makeup you may have worn before and then add more pigment – now you’re at the Cover Fx Total Coverage Level. Because of all the pigment, the product is quite thick and heavy, and is meant to be applied with a light hand.
This foundation really does provide heavy coverage, and is perfect if you have some spot concealing to do. You can apply a sheer layer of the foundation with a foundation brush or sponge, and then dab on a bit more where you need it. I prefer to do the dabbing with my finger-tips, but you could also use a foundation brush.
This is not my go-to foundation right now, but it’s definitely my go-to concealer because I’m finding it so easy to dab the heavily pigmented cream under my eyes, beside my nose, and on my lids before I apply the rest of my makeup.
