The Chocolate collection came out in 2008, and since we’re at home right now I thought it was a good time for me to revisit some of my older makeup.
Below is the shimmer compact, and though it’s beautiful in the picture, in person it has a fine layer of gold dust on the surface that looks ever so pretty.
Here’s an eyeshadow quad: The gold swirls are just on the surface and once you start using the eyeshadow they’re blended into it and don’t show anymore.

This looks so different than the one I saw at The Bay today (the unused one on the display case). It looked flat, with just a line of gold tracing the spiral, not as creamy and textured as the one in the picture here.
How do you like it? I am quite tempted, but the price is very steep

I’m not sure why the one you saw looked different, but of the two I’ve seen, they looked very similar to the one in my picture.
I like the colours a lot and the shadows are long-lasting but sheer, so keep that in mind!
Thank, Henna. I think I need to go back and try it. It just looks so delicious! I can’t handle too much shimmer on my face, so I will have to have a much closer test.
