If there’s one line that I’m all over since the beginning of this fall, it’s Rodial. Their hydrating products are just my jam right now, and I am all over this Rodial Glam Balm Multi Purpose Plumping and Hydrating Super Balm with Stem Cells.
Again, I’ll say what I always do with any product that claims to have Stem Cells in it… I have no clue… I doubt that they’re really in there and what they do if they are… but Rodial products are amazing and I really do love the Stem Cell line.
This Multi-Purpose Balm is super rich and thick and has major hydrating ingredients in it. In fact, here is the ingredient list:
Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Cyclopentasiloxane, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Aqua (Water), Oryza Sativa (Rice) Germ/Bran Oil, Cyclohexasiloxane, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Dimethiconol, Benzyl Alcohol, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Salicylic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Parfum (Fragrance), Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Extract, Menthyl PCA, Rosa Multiflora Cera, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate, Mica, Silica Dimethyl Silylate, Tocopherol, Caprylyl Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Isomalt, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol, Hexylene Glycol, Rhododendron Ferrugineum Leaf Cell Culture Extract, Lecithin, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 75470 (Carmine), Aplha-Isomethylionone, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene.
There are different kinds of oils, beeswax, and shea butter all of which help hydrate and seal in the moisture in your skin. Because this is a Balm, it’s thick and can be used anywhere: on your cuticles, your face, your elbows, etc, and unlike most balms, it absorbs super quickly so you can apply it anywhere and now that you’re not going to be waiting for a long time for it to absorb in.
I also really like the rose scent – it’s one of my favourites and it seems to last for a while when I use this balm on my hands.
Pick it up at Murale or Nordstrom – about $50.
