Swatch: Joe Fresh Matte Top Coat

I myself don’t love the matte nail trend – there’s something about glossy nails that just looks way more polished. I was still excited to try the new Joe Fresh Matte Top Coat that just came out this fall. You just put it on top of any nail colour and you have instantly matte nails. I liked this for changing up my look and my nail colour as I pleased. It’s also nice that I can wear a nail polish 2 ways – it’s almost like I have 2 colours for each bottle, instead of 1!

With the top coat, my nail polish wore just like it usually did with Joe Fresh polish – at least 3 to 4 days without any chipping.

In the picture below, I’m wearing MAC’s Jade Dragon with the matte top coat. You can see how the colour originally looks here.

Not a fan. Reminds me of the effect of putting liquid paper on your nails in elementary school, out of boredom, but black.

Wow that’s quite a difference! Works quite well.
