The best drugstore brand eyeliner ever….
I’ve been using L’Oreal’s HiP Color Chrome Eyeliner for nearly two weeks now, and I’m loving it. While the Gold Charge Colour is a rich gold pigment that’s great for the evening, I’ve been using Black Shock, a very true, dark black shade with a shimmery pigment that makes my eyes look brighter and more awake. Normally, I’m not someone who likes shimmer, but it’s subtle and blends really well into the creamy formula of the liner.
Speaking of the formula, L’Oreal created something spot-on for what makes a good eyeliner– it’s smooth and easy to apply, it sets really well, and I had a few moments before it set to smudge it out and fix mistakes if I wanted to. I also found it easy to use with an eyeliner brush, something I use when I want more precision with my eyeliner. On top of all of this, the pencil was easy to sharpen and didn’t break or crack, even at the bottom of my makeup kit and gym bag. I’ve liked Make-Up Forever’s eye pencils for the last little while, but now these are my favourite!
