Friends, it is majorly sunny outside, and that means that it’s time to start wearing sunblock on a daily basis. I’ve put the sunblock out on my bathroom counter so I remember to apply it every morning. I put it on my face and neck, and also on my arms and hands because they get exposed to the sun while I’m driving and out and about. I realize that the sunblock doesn’t last the whole day, but at least I am protected for a while which is better than nothing.
There’s a plethora of great sunblocks out there for you to choose from, and right now I’m particularly impressed with Dermaglow’s SPF 70 Cream. It protects from UVA and UVB rays, and it has a formula that’s lighter than any sunblock I’ve ever tried.
The cream has almost a whipped consistency, and leaves absolutely no white residue on your skin. It’s sheer and non-greasy, and if you use it on your face, just let it absorb for a few minutes before you apply makeup and you will be good to go.
The summer is also a good time to switch to a foundation that has SPF. For this reason, I’m partial to mineral foundation because they already have sun protection built into them. That way as long as you’re wearing makeup, your face will be protected from the sun.
