has the best eyeliner ever.
Seriously, I am digging this as another fall look to put into rotation.
The image feels retro – it’s the muted colours, and the tawny hair and skin. I’m loving the apricot cheeks and lips because they go so well with the model’s colouring and the dramatic eyes, but you could replicate this look in pinks if you wanted to and the effect would still be lovely.
Notice how the eyeliner on the bottom of the eyes meets the eyeliner at the top. Doing this with liquid or a gel would be best because then you’d get a nice clean line – I find that pencil tends to look a little messy, a little smudgy no matter how well it’s done. If you’re looking for a truly stellar eyeliner, I recommend YSL’s Eyeliner Effet Faux Cils Long Wear Cream Liner. I reviewed it last October, and I have yet to try a liner that comes even close to the wear and depth of pigmentation that this one does. It is worth every penny of the $34 it costs.
And the gorgeous wavy hair. You could wear this!
