Yves Rocher Felt Tip Eyeliner 12 h Review

Since I started wearing liquid eyeliner this past fall, I have turned into something of a fiend when it comes to the product.  Only the best will do since I have really oily eyelids that makes any eye makeup prone to smudging.

I recently tried Yves Rocher Felt Tip Eyeliner, and had to report.  By lunch time, this gave me a slight shadow in my crease, meaning that it had smudged during the day, and just didn’t have ingredients that could hold up to lots of oil.

The shade was a lovely matte dark black, and it made my lashes look really thick, so if you have eyelids that aren’t quite as prone to smudging makeup, you could probably wear it.  I even tried it with a primer and it didn’t work for me.

Available at Yves Rocher for $16.

  1. I was going to ask if you tried it with primer to see the results, but you answered my question at the end. Sounds like something I’d like to try though – I like the idea that it makes lashes look fuller.

Lorac makes a pen liner, very fine and I find it really lasts. I too have greasy eyelids and once I have on eyeshadow or primer it stays pretty well.

Thanks, Emily! I will check that one out! Right now, I’m using Benefit liner and it’s pretty great. I don’t even need a primer on with it.
