Amouage Lyric Woman

Can you name the perfume brand in this picture? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you’re into perfume, maybe you can… but chances are that people who aren’t into perfume are not familiar with Amouage, a brand that’s relatively young since it only started in the 80’s. The perfumes feel classic and familiar but they are better than what’s available at most perfume counters. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The bottle in question is Lyric Woman, a rose-sandalwood that doesn’t really shout or subvert any expectations but it’s an example of the types of scents you don’t see much of anymore. A sweet fresh rose accord that’s supported by spices. The freshness of the rose, leading to the quiet creaminess of the sandalwood, makes for a perfume that speaks in quiet measured tones. After a busy weekend, it’s perfect for settling oneself. A perfect Monday perfume, this might be a great office scent because of how easy it is to wear, and those who do end up catching a whiff won’t be able to deny that it smells so pretty. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
