Every once in a while a new eye product ends up in my makeup bag and I become kind of obsessed with it. To the point that I show it to my friends and family and try to convince them to get it because it’s so awesome.
These days, it’s all about Anastasia’s Covet Waterproof Eyeliner in Azure, supposedly a royal blue but actually a beautiful blue black that makes brown eyes really pop. Seeing as the nineties are back “in” and blue eyeshadow enjoyed a brief moment in that time, the Azure liner totally hits the mark. You can sport blue on your eyelids but nobody really has to know it.
The liners are self-sharpening which means that they’re really fine and are perfect for really getting into the lash line. I like to use them as eyeshadow too – I apply the liner, smudge quickly before it has a chance to set, and then apply more just at the lashes. The overall effect is an undone smoky eye that’s modern and perfect.
Because these liners are waterproof, they last in any kind of weather and because my look is smoky, I can up the ante by just applying more liner whenever I need.
