I’ve been feeling a bit zapped of inspiration, of creativity, of motivation to post. I’ve taken pictures but they sit on my phone. I’ve got video recorded but I never get around to editing it. I’m still here though… September has just sapped all my energy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But today there’s a distinct chill in the air and even with lots of chili crisp oil on my eggs, I can’t warm up, so it’s the perfect time to write about the perfume that I’m obsessed with right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s the perfect weather for Rouge Saray by Atelier des Ors. The plum warms up and becomes almost jammy, the spices remind me of mulling spices. There’s a bit of leather, and a warm woody, vanilla base. This is so easy to wear and has the perfect amount of sweetness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you liked the dates in Zoologist Camel, you’ve got them here but without the animalic aspects of that scent. If you like the plum and spices of Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois, this has all of them but with the volume turned way up and with a warmth thanks to vanilla. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you thought the gold flakes were over the top, just close your eyes and smell. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
