Diptyque’s holiday collection is now out and this year’s collection is designed by felt artist Lucy Sparrow which is why the candles have a pretty felt detail on them. The scents aren’t new but the candles look different making them perfect for gifting to a Diptyque aficionado. They’re more of what we already know and love but in a new package. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can check out Lucy Sparrow’s art on her page. It features brightly coloured everyday objects recreated with felt. They remind me of the felt ornaments we made in elementary school as kids, but… for adults who want a $400 felt recreation of a box of doughnuts… ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have these rich jewel tones in my house already – the velvet couch in my family room is pretty close in colour to the blue of the Etoile candle so these fit right in – and if you’re looking for a way to add some colour to your other Christmas decor, you can look here. The red and green are classic but how pretty do they look with the blue?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The holiday collection is now in stores and online. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Holiday candles retail for $115 Canadian, each.
