Gardener’s Glove by St. Clair Scents

Wearing Gardener’s Glove by St. Clair Scents, and it’s got all the things I don’t like but I still love it.

Text

Funny how that happens. Fruit, leather, and then moss.  As the name suggests, this is a leather scent that really channels the outdoors. It has a fruity opening, and you can literally smell the fruit ripening and then falling off the tree, and then rotting as you wear the scent. There’s the smell of fermentation that turns into dirt, and settles into a mossy leathery finish within half an hour. It’s such a comforting smell because it just takes you away from everything.

I have a travel size bottle.

The 13mL was $75 on the St. Clair Scents website.

I don’t read a lot of fragrance reviews but if the rest are anything like yours then there should be some sort of “Pulitzer Prize” for them. And I don’t quite know whether this is a scent I would like or not although it is intriguing to think that I would both attract and repel people at the same time.

Thank you for your kind words, Stephanie. I do agree that this is a bit of a polarizing scent. The top notes are a bit challenging but the dry down makes it worth it.
