Is there a particular MAC product that you miss and wish you had back?  Well maybe it’s on the list for the new MAC By Request Collection.  Starting today, you can vote on which products from past collections you want to come back.  18 popular lipsticks, lipglasses and eye shadows have been selected from past collections; the three shades with the most votes from each category will come back as an online exclusive, limited edition collection.

Voting opens to all Facebook fans March 12-30.  The collection will be available online in North America in August and internationally Fall 2012.

What will you be voting for?  I know my picks are the 3N lipstick and the 2N lipglass because they’re the perfect neutral colours.

Gotta check out this collection because MAC introduces a new lip product.  The new addition is Sheen Supreme Lipglass which comes in a Stila-like clickable tube.  The formula is light and not as sticky as the normal lipglass.  All the colours have pearl in them, and the finish is super pretty.  Each colour leaves a glow on your lips – there’s not much pigment, but that’s fine because it means that these layer rather well, and work with almost any colour lip or lipstick.

Moon Beach – Warm light beige with pearl (frost)
Cherry Fest – rose with high level pearl (frost)

Part of the collection is also the Sheen Supreme Lipstick – this wasn’t as much of a favourite with me, because I find that the shimmer makes the colour wear lighter than it looks.
