Redken Diamond Oil

Redken Diamond Oil offers amazing shine and hydration for dry and damaged hair. The entire line is silicone free and instead uses natural oils, including Coconut, jojoba, and apricot oils, to hydrate, nourish, and smooth hair.

The line includes a shampoo, conditioner, treatment mask, the Diamond Oil Shatterproof Shine, and Diamond Oil Shatterproof Shine Intense, and we tried them all.

True to Redken’s style, the shampoo is super hydrating but very foaming and cleansing. A tiny bit goes a long long way – something we haven’t experienced in shampoos for quite a while. The conditioner is buttery soft and still light. The mask is rich and thick – intense and perfect for the occasional treat for your hair.

But the true stars of this collection is the Diamond Oil and its intense version.

Diamond Oil is super light – almost like water in your hands – but it packs a punch. One tiny dropper full is all we needed for our long hair, and it was enough to combat frizz and make hair shiny and soft.

Diamond Oil Shatterproof Shine Intense Intense is a little bit thicker than the original version, but and would be great for thick or coarse hair that can handle more product. Again, we found that we just needed a little bit in our hair to hydrate and smooth it down, and we still had intense shine even though we weren’t using much of it.

The entire line of products smells absolutely amazing. It’s like high-end perfume – woodsy and smoky all in one without being overpowering (truly, we wished the scent lasted a little longer than it does).

Overall, if you have dry and damaged hair, you will want to invest in the Diamond Oil – it’s especially useful if you want to stay away from silicones but still want something smoothing for your hair.
