Today, a modern classic: Chanel Paris-Venise. Every brand needs its own version of a citrus vanilla and this one is Chanel’s. It feels young and fresh because I think it’s bolstered by a touch of sparkly ambroxan and a bit of ethyl-maltol for sweetness. Still, we’re at a fancy bakery so everything is sweet but not too sweet. The lemons smell fresh and bright, a cool breeze wafts through the sunshine, and the vanilla is refined and smooth. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
