I always enjoy your favourites post and I’m going to look at the MAC concealer. I am a bit older than you so any products that you can suggest for dealing with issues of aging: dryness, uneven skin colour/liver spots on the skin (hence why I am interested in the concealer). I also have droopy eyelids now (please don’t suggest an eye lift -I’m not ready for that) would be appreciated.
Also, sorry to comment again, how does the Beauty Counter tinted moisturizer compare to the Laura Mercier one?
Hi Stephanie – for dry skin, definitely treat with moisturizer first, and then cover with any makeup. The MAC concealer is what I use to blend with moisturizer or sunscreen, and then I put it all over my face – it is super pigmented so you can adjust coverage and the formula.
From what I remember, the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is heavier. I haven’t used it in a while, so I’ll have to check it out again. Beautycounter seems to have the perfect amount of tint and hydration for my skin.
