Some time last week, I got to try Smashbox’s O-Gloss. Like the O-Glow Blush that came before it, Smashbox O-Gloss promises to customize its colour to your lips. And of course, what it really does it turn the same bright pink shade no matter who applies it and where they apply it. Want proof? Take some of the product and rub it into the back of your hand. You’ll see that it turns bright pink. If you like the colour, then super, if not, then keep moving, I guess.
hehe!
Love your post. It made me chuckle.
mood swing lipgloss? that’s just so weird!
I actually had “mood” lip balm when I was younger, so it’s not a new idea. It started off green and ended up pink (of course).
Smashbox obviously did a smash marketing campaign on the O-Glow Blush and O-Gloss. You are right. They are both a pinky-pink on the skin. Too-Faced Mood Swing Lipgloss is one that I have not tried — probably out of fear of what mood it would color me.
love your blog…
I know I am commenting on old posts, but I’m just snooping around your blog. 🙂
anywho, here is what I believe is the cheapest version of this colour-changing gloss:

Nah, that’s cool – I like it when people read old posts!
Looking back, I think colour-changing gloss is still cool and if I saw it on sale, I might splurge on it, knowing full well that no matter what, it’s going to turn bright pink on me and everyone else that uses it.
Thanks for the link!
