Perfume Collecting

You’re allowed to collect. And I feel like it needs to be said, because we’re coming out of an era of minimalism, of Marie Kondo-ing your life, of having sparsely furnished, insta-ready living spaces and I’m over it. It sometimes … Continue reading

Diptyque Fleur de Peau eau de parfum

Diptyque Fleur de Peau – perfume but make it HR-friendly. A blend of iris and musks.  The musk starts like a clean laundry musk, but then the ambrette comes out, and the warmth of your skin makes this feel like … Continue reading

Winter Cleansers

It’s been a while since I shopped for perfume (or anything!) at a real in-person physical store, and my experience at Diptyque was a good one. I wasn’t planning on buying anything but then I did, and a whole bunch … Continue reading

Diptyque Benjoin Boheme Perfume Review

Diptyque’s Benjoin Boheme is coming back. I’m still trying it out but I’m finding it to be salty and sweet. There’s a hint of caramel, like that in Prada Candy which also happens to be benzoin dominant. It’s lacking the … Continue reading

Let’s hold on to this summer feeling for a bit. Longer days… Shorter sleeves… Skin soft with sunscreen… Sand under my feet… All my worries stashed in an accountant’s box, out of office reply on… And coconuts… there are always … Continue reading

Diptyque Eau Capitale Perfume Review

Diptyque Eau Capitale is a rose patchouli perfume that’s fresh instead of spicy. When in doubt, get the hair mist and spray with abandon. It blends into you, never feeling like it’s wearing you, seeming to heal from the inside … Continue reading

My Diptyque Collection

Smelly water via Diptyque. I have to admit, pulling out matching bottles brings out the collector in me, because they look so good sitting together on a shelf. Alas, most of the time, they’re hidden away in a drawer, but … Continue reading
