Boss Bottled Pacific Perfume Review

The Boss brand’s latest release is an “Elixir” and it’s done by one of my favourite perfumers: Annick Menardo (although Fragrantica lists this as a collaboration with Suzy Le Helley). This Elixir is a dry crisp scent. It opens with … Continue reading

Amouage Jubilation 25 Perfume Review

I forgot that I was easing into wearing perfume, and went back to my old habit of doing four sprays first thing in the day – that is, 4 sprays of Amouage Jubilation 25. I forgot how concentrated it is, … Continue reading

When a perfume you know is more comforting than one you don’t… turning from a sea of samples today I picked Shalimar. This is the edp, maybe not my favourite version but it has grown on me. It’s more leathery … Continue reading

Fig Perfumes in My Collection

The new #Dioriviera beside #Philosykos edt. Really more than enough of the fig note for me, and I’m finding both of these to be similar. The Dior fig feels rounder and warmer, the Diptyque more fruity. But they’re both green and summery and wearable.

Frederic Malle Geranium Pour Monsieur Perfume Review

Even I’m surprised that I like a perfume that smells like minty herbal mouthwash, but it’s 25 degrees today and I went for a walk outside so Geranium Pour Monsieur is perfect. This is as close to kitsch that Frederic … Continue reading
