Chanel’s offering for a vetiver-centered fragrance which I really enjoyed wearing. It was vetiver but also abstractly floral and woodsy and slightly marine. Perfect for a summer day. It’s part of the Chanel Exclusives line and I loved it but I don’t need more than one vetiver in my wardrobe. #curatedontcollect #vetiver #lesexclusifsdechanel

Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil Review
The Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil is going on my rebuy list because this really is a lovely product.
It’s silicone-based, yes, but it also has a blend of oils in it and a nourishing texture you can feel between your fingertips. It’s smells intoxicating – this is a signature Oribe scent – of bergamot, jasmine, and sandalwood but I did find that the scent dissipated as soon as my hair was dry. The frizz control this gave me was amazing, maybe as much as my fav invisible oil, but more luxe. Thinking of checking out more from this brand! Fun fact: apparently the packaging was inspired by luxe perfume bottles.
Hank Skincare
Here’s one for the men – not that they’re excluded from everything else, but what I mean is here’s a brand that’s made with men in mind. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Hank Skincare is a skincare brand with men in mind, but instead of messaging that offers a one-and-done solution (you know the ones: shampoo+conditoner! bodywash+deodorant!), this is beautiful packaging and scents in the skincare too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you’ve made it this far into this post, you probably use your vitamin C, sunscreen and retinol, so look to Hank for basics such as cleanser and shaving cream.
Available on their website for $28 each for the cleanser and shave aid shown above.
Louis Vuitton Imagination Perfume Review
Have you smelled this? What did you think?
I liked it, but I am not buying a big 100ml bottle.

Empties: mascara and eyebrow gel
Makeup empties and I’d repurchase all of these. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Benefit Roller Lash mascara which is so smudgy but I layer the Essence No More Panda Eyes mascara on top and I get the thickest most luscious lashes. They look like falsies. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Benefit Brow Gel which I already have another of that I’m using. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Dior Lip Glow because it’s actually a hot pink lip stain and I’m here for it.
Weekend Skincare Edit
A weekend #shelfie. This is a really tight edit of skincare I could use for a while and get great results.
The cleanser is Strivectin Gel Cushion Cleanser and I had forgotten how much I like it. It’s a great one and done kind of cleanser and it works great on oily skin even though it doesn’t foam. Because it’s gentle, I use it in the morning too.
Deciem The Ordinary Glycolic is pretty gentle and I use it in the morning. Differin was my retinol (prescription). I didn’t use this every single night but I’m glad I had it.
Neutrogena Vitamin C capsules have 20% vitamin C. I used this after the glycolic and before sunscreen every morning. $32.47.
Neutrogena Bright Boost Moisturizer is SPF 30 and I use it as my sunscreen. Aloe gel was from the Indian store and was a summertime lifesaver. $22.97.
Neutrogena UltraSheer Face Sunscreen
I know that some of you prefer a thicker cream when it comes to sunscreen. They can feel more hydrating and give you more control over how much and where you’re applying.
If that’s you, try the Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer SPFs because they are thicker creams at a very high SPF. I like them, they are not greasy and clear in finish also. Not great for use around the water but great other than that.

This is $12.97 at the drugstore, or online, so very affordable when it comes to sunscreens.
Le Labo Bergamote 22 Video Review
Wearing Le Labo Bergamote 22 today and stuck this roll on into my pocket so I can take it with me.
It is perfect for heat and it really reminds me of mint tea. People keep complaining that it disappears so fast but it’s just the bergamot that takes a hike, and that’s the nature of citrus. The vetiver is what sticks around and keeps it cool.
You can’t really tell from the picture but I have the Le Labo liquid balm which is in a roll on bottle. The liquid balm is a very thick oil and has decent sillage! I got comments about how good I smelled today and I think that’s a combo of how good this smell is, the sillage, and the fact that it’s exactly the right scent for today. One of the great things about Le Labo is how much the scents project no matter what formula you get. Rose 31 is the same and I have the oil of that.
Here’s the full video review of it.
