I remember reading the huge Chandler Burr article in the NYT, and about the drugstore musk oil she combined with something to make the perfect perfume on herself. It definitely sold the image that here was someone self-assured, who knew what smelled good because she didn’t need some fancy bottle to tell her. And now, we could all smell like her.
